Hope you are all doing well!!
Since the Provincial Government announced their plan to allow health-care providers to gradually resume their services, we have been receiving calls and emails with questions and requests for appointments.
What does this announcement mean to us?
While this is good news, we are still waiting for the revised guidelines from my regulator, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Before I can be ready to treat you, we must meet all updated safety requirements.
So, it doesn’t mean it’s back to business as usual or that the office is open right now. This means that dentists will be allowed to slowly begin seeing more patients for more types of treatments once the College gives us the “green light”.
There is still a pandemic happening and we’re taking extra precautions to ensure everyone’s protection against the spread of COVID-19. This could take some time, so please be patient.
We understand that some of you might be anxious to know if you can book your dental/hygiene appointment or if it’s going to be safe to get your dental treatment at this time. All we can assure you is that we are working hard implementing changes and improving protocols to guarantee patients, staff and everyone’s family’s safety when coming for your dental appointment.
Your health and wellbeing are our number one priority!
If you or your family member has a dental emergency, we are here for you.
Pleas e call 519-574-4894 immediately, so we can actively address your needs.
You can email us at info@irisdentistry.com to request a future appointment.
We keenly recognize our duty to minimize the spread of COVID-19 to protect the health and wellbeing of our patients, staff and the broader community. With the best in class protective measures in place, our practice presents a safe and low-risk environment for you.
We will be reaching out to reschedule all of your routine visits once normal operations resume.
Stay safe,
Dr Iris Moreira and Iris Dentistry Team[/cs_content_seo]
